University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) is organized on a “site network” model embracing the cities of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), in close cooperation with surrounding economical clusters (more than 300 companies, most of them in the area of mechatronics, logistic and automotive in one of the richest economic area in Italy). UNIMORE participates to the project through the research group of Automation, Robotics and System Control Lab (ARSControl, www.arscontrol.org) and it will focus on the control architecture of the ROSSINI platform.

Core Innovation and Technology OE (CORE) is a start-up company offering tailor-made solutions to attach meaning to data in several industrial sectors and use cases using Artificial Intelligence technologies. CORE uses its own innovation management approach to analyse customer needs and form new concepts (Concept and Business Model Engineering). CORE activities are focused on predictive analytics, simulation and optimization algorithms, innovation management, H2020 funding and mentoring, facilitating and co-designing use cases, testing pilots and field trials. The target industries include manufacturing, energy, transport and infrastructure.
